Khya is more than just a skincare brand, it reflects my own journey. Born in Sierra Leone and raised in New Zealand, I have personally felt the gaps in the beauty industry when it comes to caring for skin like mine.

Struggling with hyperpigmentation, I searched for products that would truly nurture my skin and help me feel confident. But repeatedly, I found that mainstream brands focused on trends rather than what our skin actually needs. I realised for skin of colour, formulation is not just about the latest ingredients, it is about carefully selecting what truly works to protect, heal, and nourish the makeup of our skin.

That is why I created Khya. Every product is crafted with intention and tailored for skin of colour, because confidence is too precious to be robbed of.
